I eat and drink IN my car, but only small things like crackers or chocolate, I would never EAT something that would make a mess.
If I ate ON I would probably get into an accident, especially if I am driving ;)

I do as I am driving due to my job and I have to eat on the run....I wish that I didn't though! :(
