Normally it involves removing the rear inner fender wells and making a tub, or box to replace it with. This is to accommodate drag slicks or very wide tires.

"Tubbed" refers to the rear inner fenders have been reworked to accommodate extra wide tires. In some cases almost completely across the trunk.

it means they have cut out the wheel wells.modifyed the back seat so you can put big *** mickey thompson slicks on the back.
