As a Brit I was dissapointed with the muted response from world leaders over this crisis. These servicemen were doing their job in Iraqi waters when they were siezed. Thus far only George W. has the balls to say anything on behalf of the UK. Thank you US - most of the time you do our heads in , but when it matters you've got real guts.

The British were in those waters on behalf of the UN. Why, therefore, weren't the UN outraged on their own behalf. Technically, it was their sailors that were kidnapped. It took them a week, and required the British to appeal to them, before they issued a pathetically weak response to the Iranians. This is so typical of that ineffective Liberal talking shop. That is why the British and the US became so frustrated with them when they wouldn't enforce their own resolutions against Iraq. This simply won't do.

I think President G. W. Bush is a great man and his wife is great woman and Bush is doing the correct things in the war against terror and the war in Iraq, considering the media and congress here in the US that he has to deal with all the time. I think our liberal leaders and many of their ardent followers are foolish idiots who only look out for their power. They seem to be too dumb to comprehend the serious harm they are doing to the USA every day with their silly illogical behavior, or even worse they do know the damage they are doing and they don't care. They are only in power by a very slim margin and only because conservatives were trying to send a message to the Republicans in power before them. That message was you Republicans in power are not doing your jobs. You are not being Conservative enough.

You wait what the liberals are doing now in congress is an act of treason and they will be voted out because their terribly poor judgment.

Those of you who don't pay attention you better start, because if you don't get smart you will not have a good country anymore. The dems will ruin it real fast in their ill chosen path of make GW look bad at all cost.

Look at the liberals in here answering . Their hatred and jealousy is so intense of Bush, they would rather have the 15 Brits killed so they can say Bush and Blair caused it all. It truly is pathetic.

If only there were fewer idiots in the world like you, who believe all they read in the press

or - forgive me - do you have some first-hand knowledge of this?

So many thumbs-downs scares me and shocks me. Do you all really believe it is so very inconceviable that we are being fed propaganda? Is it so impossible to believe that those sailors may well have been spying in Iranian waters? Or even just there by accident? Is it mad to think that they may have been arrested due to the Iranians having very good reason to believe they were trespassing, or even by a complete mistake? That the aftermath was just one big diplomatic ****-up? Is it beyond your wildest imaginations that all this posturing from our governments and the press, especially George Bush, may be a tactics to win public support for invading yet another country on a flimsy basis in order to control their oil?

The answers to this are making me worry about the future of western civilization. I for one think that Britain, the US, and a few others are the only ones taking any responsiblity against the threat of our lifetime; so that it is not passed onto our children to fight.

Most people know that it is most likely a setup. Everyone but a small percentage of the US knows that Bush and Blair have zero credibility now.

You can thank Bush for getting your country into this mess in the 1st place.

You know Bush calls Blair 'Jeeves' in private...his own little butler. What a pathetic country Britain has become...
