If the air force is getting rid of desk jobs, what are the doing with the men and women in these positions? Are they kicking them out of the air force or putting them in different jobs?

sorry, i mean downsizing....like cutting the amount of desk jobs. What are they going to do with the people in these positions?

Who says they are getting rid of desk jobs? Any large organization has administrative tasks that need to be done. If they don't have Air Force personnel doing them, they will have to contract with someone to get them done.

I don't believe they are downsizing the deskjobs at all. Just As much manpower they need on the field, they need people to plan and do logistics to carry out training coordination and missions in the USAF.
