ok, im a big fan of Florida, me and my dad were talking and I think that there are other teams that have won a national championship tittle in the two sports of BasketBall and Football in the same year. I was wondering if anyone could back me up on this.. I have looked all over Google.com and I cant find anything! so, thanks again...

It hasn't happened before. It would be the first, at least in D!.
BTW, Notre Dame Got to the Final Four in the late 70s, but has never won the NCAA tourney.

notre dame i believe in 1979 or 1978. I know it was in the late 70's. I heard them say it on espn last week. Just forgot the year.

there isnt they made a big deal about it on fox when the gators beat the buckeyes
