You can buy exhaust tape at any auto parts store. You just wrap it on like regular tape and then let your car run to warm it up and as it warms it hardens. Pretty good quick fix.

Yes, any auto parts store should have something called "muffler bandage". There are several kinds, but use the one that is already pre-wetted, not the two part fix, which is even messier...it just wraps around the hole, and some have a reinforcing patch you can clamp around the fix...it ain't permanent, but will stop hurting your ears...

1. Find a metal can that is slightly larger diameter than the pipe
2. Remove the top & bottom
3. Cut the can lengthwise
4. Slightly expand the can to fit over the pipe
5. Clamp into place with at least (3) T-Bolt Clamps

The cheap and dirty way is with an aluminum can and 2 hose clamps, wrap it and clamp it. The not so dirty way is a patch that is welded in place until you can replace the pipe or if done right no replacement needed.
