For the past few years I've had feelings for both male and females and have only just accepted the person I am. I'm also a christian and I don't want it to come between my relationship with me and God. I love God to pieces and I also have feelings for a guy and I don't want to get into a relationship with this guy and then loose my connection with Christianity and God! please help me because im scared that i wont be accepted by people at my church if I tell them and they wont like me for the person I am anymore. It would be great to hear from you all! PLEASE HELP!!!

1:10 am i trying to win the approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were still trying to please men, i would not be a servant of God - tht really means summin 2 me because I no its ma challenge in lyf tht God wants me to b his servant
nd
nd 5:10 I am confident in the Lord that you will take no other view, the 1 who is throwing u in2 confusion will pay the penalty, who evr he may b - dnt really no wot this means

I believe that it doesn't matter if you are bi, lesbian, gay, or straight. As long as you are a good person and you love God he will love you and accept you no matter what your sexual orientation is. I do not think that it is "evil" or a "sin" to be bi, lesbian, or gay. I think that as long as you are happy that is all that matters and God will love you unconditionally. Don't let anyone tell you different because you can not help how you feel. It is totally natural. Hope this helps! :)

Face it, everyone is a sinner. How should one thing considered un-God like get in the way a lot more then others? If the church kicks you out for being bisexual, but let in many other kinds of sinners, then maybe going to that church wasn't worth it in the first place. Isn't God suppose to be about accepting people? What kind of church rejects people without giving them a chance to redeem themselves? What kind of church picks and chooses which sins get in the front door and not? What kind of church teaches that God would turn sinners down? "Love the sinner, hate the sin" or something like that. If other sins didn't stop you from having a personal relationship with God, then why should this one? Is all sins are considered equal, then how does bisexuality somehow turn out worse then others?
Despite speaking as if I were a Christian, I'm not and don't accept the concepts that they teach. I only speak like that to attempt to answer the question easier.

You can't help being what you are any more than you can help liking one food over another. God also did not intend for you to be treated less than human. If these people's love for you extend only as far as your sexuality, then they are shallow people who are unworthy to be friends to anyone but each other.
There are some churches that are LGBT accepting, such as the Liberal Episcopalians. I suggest you find one in your community and have a frank talk with the priest there.
Good luck.

Of course you can be bisexual and Christian. Whether you can be honest about yourself and remain a member of the church you now belong to might be a different matter. But no single church has a monopoly on God, and if your friends at your church do not accept you for who you are it might be a sign that you should seek out a more welcoming spiritual community.

There's more to being a christian than just your sexuality. as long as you respect and love yourself, others and god that's being a christian. judging and hating isn't christian. when i came out as a lesbian i had a bit of a problem concerning this too but if you start thinking about what being christian is about and what it should be about then your sexuality is barely an issue.

No, I don't believe you are compromising your relationship with god. Remember, his son did save the life of a prostitute and said those without sin throw the first stone. I suggest going to a church that will accept as you are and certainly won't judge you.

No, because i am also a christian and came across this situation. Just because the 10 commandments say that u cant like the same sex says sumtin. God wrote these commandments to show us we cant keep them and that as hard as we try, we arent perfect like him. so, throught that, he is trying to tell us that only and by only through jesus we may become one and recieve salvation through Jesus.

My opinion on religion is that, god doesn't actually hate gays and bisexuals, (or why would he have made them) I think that christians just misunderstand the bible and assume that, that is the case. God teaches to love not hate.

I'm bisexual and I completely believe in God. I haven't been to church in many years tho, so I wouldn't know what to tell you about their reaction. I can say this...those who are your friends will love you and accept you as you are.
