I vote for the best answer - if is mine I vote for it, if it is not mine I don't vote for mine I vote for the one that wrote it...
I don't do it for the points (otherwise I would always vote for my own)....sometimes I have put a lot of thought and research into an answer and others were obviously just slutting for points and not even answering the question...so then I think it is ok to vote for yourself.
