Back when a hoe was a hoe
Coke was a coke
And crack's what you were doing
When you were cracking jokes
Back when a screw was a screw
The wind was all that blew
And when you said I'm down with that
Well it meant you had the flu

Things change... you should enjoy life as it comes... and realize that people are people and that we all live here together and we are all diverse... we aren't all alike how boring would that be... when we can all start living together without talking bad about each other because they don't live how we think they should... then words would still mean what they did, instead of having to put labels on everyone that doesn't live the same life style as you

Aunt ... I am old, too.
And I long for the good old days, but not for the reasons you list.
I remember when two people could discuss issues and bring solutions to the table without hate.

I remember when I would thank God for particular Senators or Representatives or even a President because he could get behind a good idea and help make it happen - regardless of where the idea came from.

I remember when it took hard work to represent the public ...to work for them, not to grab power and money at the cost of hurting those he/she was supposed to protect and help.

Yes, Aunt, I'm old and I do miss the "good old days."

All human beings have 2 arms, 2 legs & a face - you should
be proud to respect that, regardless of sexual orientation.

Not me.

What did being a different color mean? How were women treated? What was the Tuskegee experiment all about (not the Army Air Corp one)?
