If you want to hear the origins of the Goth scene, check out Bauhaus, the godfathers of the genre. Other good bands in the true spirit include Fields of the Nephilim and The Sisters of Mercy.

Gothic is a kinda wide term. Try (off the top of my head) Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Placebo, VAST, Dresden Dolls. etc. That's a pretty wide variety of groups. Hopefully you'd like some of them.

Well...There are a lot of "Gothic" bands...If you ever watch Fuse then you can get a good look at alot of them...There are to many to list..
