me and my friend have been friends for 8 years and she is 4 years older than me and lately scine she started high school we havent been talking much and i dont even know to talk to her about any more.then i been feeling like there r ceartin things i dont want to tell her and i dont want to hang out with her anymore but i want our friendship to last.and its not all my fault cuz when ever we talk all she talks about is how her and her ~new~boyfriend r doing and the guys that want to hook up with her.and she makes herslef sound kinda sluty but how should i keep her as my friend but with out us being that boring no matter the age seperation?

"there r ceartin things I dont waht to tell her" is your frist mistake she is your friend of 8 years and your keeping secerts! Second she is in highschool this is the hardest, stress filled, and identy crisis time a person can go thru. Give her a break. Espacially if she is actting all sluty let her know thats what you feel. Maybe she needs to hear it. It would seems whats really going on her is you insecurities about knowing what she is going thru since she is in highschool now... the other is that your friend is hitting the time of her life when sex is an issue, while your still "hopfully" fighting with it as an issue. So your fundemental on different plans socially. And since your not being as honesty emotionally with her your lossing that ground you guys use to have when she was younger. Ether way its natural, it happens, and you might want to accept giving yourselves some space tell your both a little bit more comfrontable with talking about how you feel. Your no longer peers any more but that doesn't mean you concentrate on that, time to remeber the purpose that kept you guys together in the frist place, or watch new purposes tear you apart.... namly, hopfully it was for the love you guys had for each other....
