The total number of representatives is currently fixed at 435 by the Reapportionment Act of 1929, though Congress has the authority to change that number.

435 members of the House of Representatives
100 members of the Senate
1 delegate from the Distict of Columbia
1 delegate from Guam
1 delegate from the US Virgin Islands
1 Resident Commissioner from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
so technically, there are 540 members of congress.

Just off the top of my head I think the number of congressmen in the house of representatives is 435.

435 in the House of Representatives- each state has a number of congressional districts proportional to population, and each of these districts has one representative.

100 in the Senate- two senators from each state.
