Well Hero, I am 51 so I guess I qualify to answer your question.
Although I do find long hair sexy and quite attractive on some grown men, I do not know what you mean by long haired skater boy. I look at men, not boys. Boys do not impress me no matter how they look.
For a man to have long hair and it be appealing to me it must be well kept and most importantly clean. A dirty, greasy or frizzy, fly away look does not do it for me.
And not all men look good with long hair. It takes a certain type of hair to look good when it is long. Sean Connery now he looks good in long hair. John Travolta looks better with shorter hair. Just my opinion, but that is what you wanted isn't it?

For starters, I am 50 years old, mother of two boys ages 21 and 24, both of which are clean cut short haired MEN. I don't picture 26 year old men as skater boys unless of course they are professional skaters or skateboarders. Long hair is fine for these BOYS but not at all appealing to my taste. Now, on the flip side, if you're a biker with long hair, you got my attention. Just make sure it's neat and clean...greasy is not an option. Good Luck!

My age is 30, I dont find long haired skater boys sexy usually they are about 17-19 years old. Like the girl ahead of me said, BOY!!! after 26 were usually after a MAN!!

I'm in my 30's and I don't like long hair on men at all, younger and especially older. Skater boys remind me of a teenager.

i am 31 and i don't find long hair or the skater look the slightest bit attrative. But then even when I was young I never liked that style. I am more drawn to clean cut, preppy-ish men or more sports athletic baseball types.

No, isn't that the long hair in the face with beanie hats, baggy long pants or shorts and big shirts? No.
I like the long hair tighter clothes rocker look.
I love the sweaty roofer look in the summer too, long as there's no plumber crack

I am over 26 and I want my guy looking like a grown man and not a little boy. I don't like that look...it is too juvenile. To each his own, but I love the way my guy looks and dresses and it sure is not that. He dresses like the successful businessman he is. I would not like it if we go to dinner and the waiter brings him a children's menu..

It really depends on the individual, but generally, I'd have to say any young "look" is a turn-off for me. I'm 30.
