As in 'Democratic Party'?
I think the fact that the vast majority of 'ethnic minorities' are Democrat.

All you 'neocons', stay warm and cosy under your rocks, please. This question is WAY ABOVE your intellect.

I am proud of my liberal views because I was able to achieve what we try to teach our kids in schools today - that everyone is equal, no one is better than you, and you are better than no one. No matter what color, religion, sexual orientation, race, etc. everyone deserves the same rights as men and women.

I am proud of the fact that the democratic party supports a woman's right to their own body. If the government (republican party) is ever allowed to control my body and what I do with it, I will be forced to leave the country.

I am proud of my ability to be open minded.

If anything, it’s because it is also the party of the politicians that I admire the most. It is the party of Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy. Of course, we Democrats haven’t seen leaders like those in awhile. Still the ones we have seen in recent years are still far better than what the other side offers.

The one thing that makes me proud of the Democratic Party is the fact that its members can hold many different political points of view and are still welcomed and listened to because the Party realizes that there are many sides to every problem.

We aren't sheeple.

Actually, I resent having to affiliate with a party. I know I don't *have* to, but those who call themselves "independent" in this country (which I used to do) have shown themselves to be utterly unconcerned with anything.

That being said, and being stuck (realistically) with a choice between Dem and Repub, Dem is the clear choice because it is the only party, of the two major parties, that currently is based on a notion of nationhood. The Repubs, in contrast, are concerned with petty matters - I mean, what kind of political philosophy is "don't tax me"? That's the entirety of their purpose.

I'm not a Democrat, but the only person in Congress that I'm actually happy to have there happens to be one.

Dennis Kucinich.

I am a registered Democrat. I vote in every election. There is nothing the makes me feel proud. If anything, I should be ashamed that I am too lazy to chang my party affiliation to Republican.
