Who set them up Blair and Bush? Probably. Perhaps if Iran started torturing them as the US and the UK do to prisoners (of various nationalities including Iranian (where are those diplomats?) who are not even charged with any crime) it would be worth it but we should kill all of our own leaders 1st.

Huh? The British soldiers set up as provocation? Implausibility meter is starting to hum.
Well, in any case, the U.S. is a bit hamstrung and going to war with Iran at this time is... foolish.

I'm not willing to go to war with Iran FOR ANY REASON because it would be the end of the world as we know it... Gas would be $5 a gallon and the stock market would be in ruin... we have more to lose than they do with a war.

How about 1000 British soldiers? What is the number that would cause you to think that war is justified? I say to you that the number should have nothing to do with the justification of war but the act of piracy on the high seas SHOULD be the justification. Also, in a "he said, she said" situation, who do you want to believe-your Allie that has the same form of government and for years has fought at your side against common enemies or your enemy that has a goal of destroying you and your way of life and has said so both in words and in actions?

Isn't that a question that the
President of the World (Dubya)
should answer?
(He's pushing his poodle Blair aside as
I type this and Dubya will be the one to determine
how Iran is handled...
being the Presidunce of the world, right!)

I'm still sore about the CIA overthrow of Iran's first democratically elected government. It's largely a result of that that Iran is the way it is now.

The US and UK would get entirely what they deserve if thousands of their soldiers are killed attempting to attack Iran.

You know, I always did have this fantasy of witnessing our own country get its collective butt kicked by some country because its military is stretched and crippled by endless war.

I think it got started last year when Bushco started making inroads into wanting to take on Iran over pretty much anything--no matter what the excuse.

So now, I've drawn up a hypothetical situation involving such an outcome. And I can tell you right now...?

It doesn't look good for us.

I wouldn't be willing to go myself or send any members of my family or my friends. But I would have no problem with the Bush twins or Mary Cheney being forced to go.

Why would we invade Iran because they kidnapped BRITISH sailors? Let Britain go to war with them! And if they need our help, I'm sure we'll be happy to give it to them!

why would we be 'complete idiots' if we came to the aid of our staunchest ally... are you some kind of islamofascist sympathiser or something?...
