Definitely!!! The TV tends to make it seem like if a person hasn't had sex by the time they are 12 there is something the matter with them. They also tend to build the whole story or plot around who is jumping in bed with who.
Then we come to the nude scenes and the almost explicit scenes of couples in bed together. The ratings tend to get more and more lax.
The news media is just as bad when it comes to anything that is sensational tell the worst and show the most shocking pictures possible, we want to improve our rating.
If "Leave It to Beaver" was being produced today, June would probably be running around with just an apron on and it would be as short as a miniskirt. Then when Ward got home they would send Beaver out to play while they made love on the couch.

Yes, I believe that there is too much emphasis on sex on TV.
The bad thing about it is that impressionable children get distorted ideas concerning the proper role of sex in relationships with the opposite sex. Many TV shows and movies make kids feel like there is something wrong with them if they do not have sex before they are married; that really irritates me!

That isn't the only thing that the TV puts too much emphasis on

On TV, Internet, Billboards and all advertisement. Homosexuality has made it worse than ever and I didn't think it could get worse. The girls and women in Hollywood are a shame to our nation. When the women get this bad, the culture is corrupt.

Abslutively, I don't watch it anymore. We live in a society were we seem to be encouraging people to define themselves solely on a basis of sexuality or materialism, but this is what happens when the Media is trying to sell to us through our instinct. They want to make as many people feel inadequate and insecure as possible, the mentally healthy find pleasure in life itself...and that's free :)

Yes it does. Not just TV. In the movies, music, and games. It gives children alot of ideas. I'm glad mine are older, or I have to throw it out of the window. I really don't watch alot, maybe the news and that's getting depressing.

i guess it depends.

in some situations yes, because I,myself get embarassed sometimes when my mom walks in on the wrong conversation or scene on the television

but on the other hand, without tv, alot of younger kids wouldnt see/hear sexual things, whether for the better or worse.

t.v. does take it too far sometimes

but thats just life.
