Why don't Americans demand AIPAC be banned?

This organization has overlooked domestic interests time and time again in favor of Israel's. The last time I checked, taxpayers money goes to maintain and improve our government's functions.

Why do more people not demand they be removed from the U.S.?

Franklin, a former Defense Department employee, has pleaded guilty to several espionage-related charges and was sentenced in January 2006 to nearly thirteen years of prison. Should we replace them with a Lobby for Dubai, or Saudi Arabia? Most of the Highjackers of 9/11 were Sauds.
I think they do Good but need to be accountable to the Law.!

It's a political lobbyist group. Of course they are looking after their own interests. Same as every other political lobbyist group.

It doesn't matter what they are supporting, as long as it's legal.

And they can't be eliminated for the same reason that any other legal political lobbyist group cannot be arbtirarily eliminated. The Constitution guarantees their freedom of expression, their freedom of assembly, and their freedom to petition the government. You can't silence them just because you disagree with their message.
