monkeys and dolphins are highly evolved animals. can they learn like us, of course not at the same rate as humans, but if they did would animals have rights?

There are experimenters who taught chickens or pigeons to count and monkeys to distinguish quantities and dolphins to recognize geometric shapes. None of those animals have ever written math articles in journals or published a textbook so I think they are not as good as people in the math world.

There are already people who have math skills but are really lacking in rights - so I don't believe passing a math test would give animals rights either.

Yes amazingly someone had taught my ex-wife to do just that and sometimes she would clean LOL.
