It's an ancient Babylonian religion. All these horrorscopes of today are based on that. It changes with the centuries and adapts to any new planets found. So you can say that whatever you want of it, is easily made as the scientists find more, and more information on our solar system, and the stars.
The high priests, and priestesses will adapt for you.
Particularly in the English states as the language is so adaptable itself, that you can literally make up a definition to fit your lifestyle.
Mainly the religion is a hoax. It does have a lot of persuasive powers in that it seems to peg certain groups into certain time periods of birth. Somewhat accurately (this depends on your idea of accurate) but it has an eerie ability to do this. Myself I don't question that information, I question the source of that information. My questions have lead me to believe the source is evil. I stay away from it.
