I have a few friends they never come on time for dinner if we are meeting up. If we say 7:30 pm for dinner they will show up 7:45,8:05 range. Should I wait for them? or Should I just go in the restaurant and order? If I do order when they do show up how would you handle the situation?

No you should not wait for them. If it was a once in a while thing & they had a good reason it would be different. Just go ahead & order & tell them you were hungry & tired of waiting.

that's relatively undesirable. you're a lot extra affected person than maximum individuals could have been. i think of you have 3 options: a million. anticipate them being previous due in destiny and be previous due your self. 2. Wait quarter-hour and then bypass away in the event that they do no longer take place. you need to even tell them whilst the plans are made which you will basically wait a couple of minutes. 3. decrease back on putting out with them. you do no longer ought to submit with this. in case you do choose for (2) or (3) and that they say something, you need to tell them that regrettably, you basically don't have time to watch for hours. they're being very impolite. stable success.

Well, Dr. Phil would say these people are arrogant. I would not invite them once and when they ask why tell them its because you had another engagement after dinner and they would have had to get there on time so you could be on time to your event. In the meantime, of course, go ahead and order. Then when they come you can enjoy your dessert!!! And extra coffee. I love leisurely meals. But, friends like this aren't.

so instead of saying dinner at 7:30 and have 'em show up at 8:00, say instead, dinner's at 7:00 sharp, that way they'll show up at 7:30!! Work around their flaws if you really care about 'em. People aren't gonna change a die hard habit of being late simply because it annoys you. Next time, just beat 'em at their own game!
