What is life?
A terminal disease contracted during birth and has a 100% mortality rate!
The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A death! What's that, a bonus?!? I think the life cycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. The you go live in an old age home. You get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then, when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You drink alcohol, you party, and you get ready for High School. You go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities, you become a little boy(girl), you go back, you spend your last 9 months floating with luxuries like central heating, spa, room service on tap, then you finish off as an orgasm!!
Uff... Now that's what life should be!
Life – it has a meaning and loving purpose - you just have to find your purpose and live it.
I believe every person is here for a definite purpose. Each person is special and valuable; that refers to me, you, your family, friends, in fact everybody! There is a loving plan for each of our lives here on earth and there is no such thing as coincidence. I don't believe that anything in life happens by chance and that every aspect of our lives points to something deeper.
You need to decide now to live for God rather than for yourself. You spend your life on Earth preparing yourself (as best you can) for death. I don't see death as a scary, negative experience, but birth into a bliss filled eternal life with God. I believe that this is something you have to consciously choose or not during your life on earth.
The meaning of life is for us to discover that we are true children of an infinitely loving and merciful God, to find out what our responsibilities are to our Creator, and to fulfill those responsibilities. Each of us is called to affirm, accept and develop the talents God has given us. -

80% of humanity, the religious folks, don't need to ask the meaning of life, the church tells them....the supernatural explanation. But the rest of us can't swallow religious dogma, because there's no evidence. Nobody can prove that there life after death, that people are tortured or rewarded after life or that there's invisible spirits running around.
I've come to two conclusions recently:
1. Life has no meaning
2. Life has a million meanings.
First, there's a certainty that death and annihilation awaits not only you, but the Earth in general. It's an astonomical certainty that our sun will supernova and leave the earth a burnt crisp, not to mention all the other extinction level events around the corner.
Second, the million things that give us meaning are the pleasurable experiences we can conjure up during the short period we are here on the earth, in the form of the relationships we have with our kids and other people, and the 'housekeeping' types of purposes. What i mean by that are the curing disease, ending hunger, improving literacy, reducing crime, preventing war, helping other kinds of things.
So the bottom line is, we only have a temporary meaning to life, to reduce pain and increase pleasure, other than that everything is lost to oblivion.
To be or not to be? "To be" is temporary and "not to be" is inevitable.....

The meaning of life is simple; to live.
Now interpreting what living is, is a whole other brand of beef. Some people live by the word of god, others by the grace of god. Some jump out of airplanes, others never take a risk. And at the end of life, you should be ready for whatever comes at you. In other words, look forward to death, knowing that you have lived all that you wanted to and all that you could.

If you have the time and want a REALLY good laugh. -Watch the film Monty Python's 'Meaning of Life'
It's a bit confusing at 1st. It is made of short segments, which vary. Some are really disgusting - like the vomit scene.
Some are funny religiously - like 'Every sperm is sacred segment'
Some are educational and beautiful - like Galaxy song.
And at the end John Cleese reads out 'The meaning of Life (it has to do with fish)
'Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy' (also a book and film) also states the meaning of life is 64 or is it 42? or.........

Everyone has a different meaning to their life, some need love, some just need to live, but i think that the true meaning is to live and make a difference, stand up for what YOU think is right, not what the crowd thinks (unless the crowd is correct), and just have fun. Make life worth the while, and never give up!

Living... The fact that you're already in the world gives you the opportunity to enjoy the world the best way you can. Sipping fresh water...hearing the birds.... eating a good pasta with a good wine... love....make sex...There are so many interesting things in life!!!Death is a bird that is on your shoulder since the very moment you've born . If you Happen to be worried about her, you'll forget to live.

Each person must bring or decide his/her own "meaning."
It is not for me or anyone else to say.
Personally, my "meaning" is to maintain an acceptable balance between helping others and indulging in the various pleasures of life and the flesh.
You may become a teacher, a bricklayer, a janitor, a painter, a politician, or a minister.
That is for you to decide.

i believe that everyone finds a different meaning of life. for example, my meaning of life is that you should live it to it's fullest. while on the other hand my cousin believes that wer'e just here so god can get some laughs out of watching us. i'm sorry that i can't answer your question, because it's your meaning of life, not mine.

Life is an opportunity to learn how to live with others peacefully.
Life is an opportunity to purify your mind by abandoning unwholesome deeds, unwholesome thoughts, sexual and non-sexual desires/cravings.
Life is an opportunity to develop your mind by practicing loving kindness to all beings.
