I come from a pretty liberal town. Actually, Dennis Kucinich is my rep.

But even here the news is pretty conservative slanted. I was just wondering what exactly conservatives in this section are talking about when they refer to "the liberal media". I havent seen many liberal slanted news shows, especially on regular, non-cable television.

Thanks.

Well look at where the focus of news stories are. Always on democrats who are anti-bush, anti-war, anti-republican, and anti-everything else. It was a FACT that Bush received 2/3rd's more negative stories abou thim than John Kerry did during the 04 election, and you'd be hard pressed to find ANY positive stories about President Bush on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, or NBC. Call the media liberal, drive-by, or whatever you want. I personally believe they care about one thing and one thing only. Ratings and selling more newspapers. Simple as that.

I guess it is in the eye of the beholder. I'm sure if I saw the news shows that you are talking about I would find them slanted heavily to the left. (ever see how yahoo news always leads everyday with a negative story on Iraq?).
I'll give you an example.....the only news channel that is not slanted in my view is FOX news channel. I'm sure you disagree with that. It all depends on your focal point.

It is a term used in reference to so-called "journalists" who lean towards the left, who's reporting is influenced by the socialist stench that controls American academia and the entertainment industry.

Anyone who questions the path of war badly informed by the cadre of yess men and women lying to enhance their positions or currying favor to advance a GOP agenda. They are the ones labeled. The rest are pathetic toadies.
