Because its a penguin thing. Just like how birds migrate to the south in the winter, monarch butterflies go to Mexico, etc. Penguins are amazing animals especially seeing all they go through for their babies!

They do not march, that is a literal thing that just sdounds good, the little suckers shuffle......i wouldnt shuffle 70 miles to breed.

cause that is where all of the penguins are born. its there mating place. have you ever watch march of the penguins?
