Dominican is not a race...you should know that. It's a nationality.
There are A LOT of black people in the Dominican Republic. Thing is, they say they are Dominican just like everyone else, especially in the U.S. If you're truly Dominican, YOU WOULD KNOW THAT.
Same thing goes for Cuba and many Caribbean nations.
Where do these questions come from?!

You are Black, probably. I would have to look at you first though. I don't know why Dominican people don't want to admit that their black and accept it. Dominican people look like Black/African people from everywhere else, besides the hair, maybe, and still do not want to believe it. Its disturbing. I beg you to pick up a history book and read it now that you are away from the brainwashing of the Dominican Republic. If you took a DNA test, you would have some real proof.

I don't see a question there. I know a lot of Dominican people that say that that happens to them too. I guess you could wear a t-shirt with a big Dominican flag on it and hope people get the hint. I don't know what else to tell you.

I'm half Dominican and Haitian my dad was darker then my mom , Dominicans are considered Hispanics so regardless of your skin tone you are still Hispanic there are many dark skin Hispanic people , you should know that . if that what you meant by being black ?

If you mean, people assume you are "African American" or Urban...than I can understand your annoyance. But all that being Black entails is dark skin. I mean, some dark skinned Indians identify themselves as Black...
