Honestly.. you shouldn't dwell on it.

Any child miscarried in the second or third trimester is technically stillborn. My son died ar 18 weeks in utero and I had to be induced and labor to expel the fetus. He was cremated. We had genetic testing done and there was no exact cause. The child did not have downs or any other genetic abnormality. It could have been a blood clot or something along those lines.

I honestly didn't know about this until I had a late term miscarriage and it seemed like I was able to find women almost everywhere that would tell me they had been through the same thing. It's really sad that this is such a silent problem we go through.

Thank you for your condolences and I wish the best for your pregnancy. I just found out this morning I am pregnant again as well.

My son was stillborn in 2004. The cause I was told was cord around his neck. I was 38 weeks pregnant. All I can say is watch the babys movement and trust your instinct. If something doesn't feel right get it checked out. Don't worry about what the doctors or nurses may think. Just make sure you do your kick counts every day!

My daughter was stillborn at 34 weeks. Despite extensive testing no cause was found, which is the case in nearly 2/3 of stillbirths. Kelly B is correct--TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS. Do you kick counts and if anything doesn't 'feel' right--go and be checked!

Try not to stress-you're much more likely to be having a normal healthy pregnancy! Good luck & God Bless!
