you could make it a dual boot, ie vista and xp, even a linux variant if you wish. if you dual boot it then partition the drive first though.
if you legally own a copy of xp but have lost the serial and cd then i believe that you can obtain a copy from the bit torrent network.

I really cant see why not - try putting an XP disc in and tell it to overwrite the existing OS. If it tells you it cant - then do a search for a DOS boot disk - reformat the drive from there, and then load XP.

It is possible. You just need an XP distribution disk and the product activation code. You might want to make a list of all of your devices and get the drivers for them before you switch, though.

Yes but you would have to format your hard drive and then set up your computer via the windows xp setup disk

don't see why you'd want to, half of the money you just bought that laptop with was for the software! But you would blank the hard-drive and install windows XP, but i advise checking this with Microsoft, for i don't wanna go killing your PC!
