I think everyone is forgetting that the past is just that...THE PAST! If you want to know which team will be best this year, I would say both are pretty strong, I will obviously root for my team the Eagles, but the patriots are consistantly good, and are a force every year (so far). I guess as far as this year goes only time will tell. I will say that I think these could very well be the two SB teams this year. Way to early to say for certain, but its a hunch.

New England Patriots by a landslide defeat the Philadelphia Eagles. On a first point, I'd just like to point out that the Patriots defeated the Eagles 24-21 at Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005.
First of all, the Patriots have more rings than the Eagles. 3 going on 4 this year. Secondly, they've got a better headcoach Bill Bellichick, and third and final, they've got a better quarterback Tom Brady. Even though there are more reasons, this beats them by a landslide.

I dont like either team but this is a no-brainer. New England is leagues above the Eagles... The Eagles have alot of problems.... I wouldnt consider them one of the 5 best teams in the NFL.

New England no doubt. With their quarterback a good young running back. Plus great moves at wide receiver and defense make them not only the better team but one of the best teams in the NFL.

I'd have to go with NE even though i'm an eagles fan...we have 0 superbowls but we do have a great team this question was crazy lol...

Well, you have to say NE because they've won 3 Super Bowls in the last 6 years and went to the championship game 2 of the years they didn't win.

its obviously the patriots. they have had more success in history and have a better team presently having belicek and brady as the core of the team. you cant really compare the teams in any way. too one sided and obvious.
