As someone else said... it entirely depends on what was going on in the dream.
There could be a situation that needs "cleaning up". Or the color of the towel could be an important symbol. Dreams are our minds way of processing the day's events. You are your own best dream interpreter. What were your first impressions about the dream? What does a towel "mean" to you?

The towel appears in a dream to clean up some of the bad things you might have done or thought about somebody. Or it might cover some things you do not want to be seen or found out. (People use a towel to cover themselves when are naked in the bathroom or to clean up the unwanted water on their body).
