Absolutely not. Marriage takes maturity, and part of maturity is being comfortable enough with yourself and strong enough that you can be alone.
Marrying the wrong person is a recipe for disaster and heartache. If your motivation is 'well I was really lonely', then you're not thinking clearly when making your choice of mate, nor are you being very discriminating.
You can be just as lonely inside a bad marriage with someone you don't love as you are just being alone. More so in fact, because you'll also feel guilty and trapped. Look around at some of the questions that are asked in this section of Yahoo Answers every day for some examples.
If you get married just alleviate loneliness it's not fair to you, it's not fair to the person you marry, and it's extremely cruel to any children you might have who would grow up in a loveless home.
The right person is worth waiting for.
Good luck

You must know that alone is not a good reason or you would not be asking. You want total strangers to tell you how to decide your most important life decisions? Look out, you are gong to get some wild answers.

No, because odds say that as soon as you do, you will find the love of your life, and then you will hate yourself for not waiting. marriage should be out of real love, not fear of being alone.

No and no again. That is the worst reason to get married. It will only lead to heartaches for you.

no, because you need to love each other first. Just be patient, and you each will find the one you should be with, and if it is each other then you will eventually know that too
