the radeon 9550 is a good middle range card easily capable of running r.c.t 3 on high settings
however you need to make sure you meet all the other requirements, especially the processor speed as this is what normally affects a games performance
the 9550 comes in 2 sizes 128mb and 256mb,i would opt for the 256mb model although the 128mb is good enough for rct3,and the 9550 has a pixel and shader model 2.o,this means your graphics will be a bit flashier than the 9250,the card the 9550 took over
pixel and shader model 2.0 is also the requirment for running aero3d in windows vista so that will come in handy when upgrading your o/s to vista
may i also recommend the nvidia geforce 6200(http://www.amazon.co.uk/PNY-Verto-GeForce-6200-AGP8X/dp/B000FSA8UE/ref=sr_1_5/203-8827829-7015169?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1175458510&sr=1-5),this is about the same price as the 9550 but has a pixel and shader model 3.0
this will still run rct3 but you will be able to add a few more effects such as antiatilising and antostropic filtering, which basically means your graphics will be alot smoother and clearer
there are loads of excellent budget card around the same price as the 9550 so shop around, dont get me wrong the 9550 is a very good card but when looking for a new graphics card you need to look for top specs at rock bottom prices
good luck mate
