Who remembers what Polls and Surveys was like back in....?

Question

...2006? I joined in August, and I preferred the older, simple version of Yahoo answers, now its all souped up with complicated features....we used to have a freedom to give thumbs down, but i guess that was too offensive, so they stole that from us.....plus, the people and questions bck then were so much more fun and interesting.....Has anyone been here long enough to remember? Id like to hear your opinions

started back in July-06- was so much more different, was not as abusive and hateful as it is now, if you anger one of the "CLICK" they come after you like a pack of wolfs, don't know if it they or the same person changing accounts as fast as the wind, had someone e-mail last week, saying, one person has 5 accounts, just keep giving themselves -best answerer- personally I could care less, if you have to cheat to get best answerer, whats the point, or the agreements, with I'll give you best, then you do same for me, its all petty, its not like we can list it on our headstone, that we achieved greatest in yahoo answerer's-

As one of the first back in the day with Jimbo (when he was Jimbo72), and Maryann and Monitor Noggin' And Larlz... I never could spell his name... And Laura, and proud mommy and so many others... Poison Ivy comes to mind as well...

I have spent more time here and ketting kicked out and creating fasinating new questions about kimchee, zombies, and nothing much else.
I remember when Amy from Yahoo was cool with us, when Jimbo's pants would and could hold an entire world, when Sleestacks and dumptrucks were funny...

I had a ton of funny questions back then. I even shared my vasctomy and a few kidney stones out here too.

I joined in July and yes I remember how it was back then. I also liked the thumb up and thumbs down better than the stars. We have lost a lot of the favorite people since then.

I only joined in November of 2006 but yes I remember it and it was alot better than it is now. There still are some moments when polls and surveys is great again just not very many of them.

I joined in January, but I can can still remember how you could give thumbs-up or thumbs-down on questions. The stars just aren't the same.

I was here last year September, no 2 years ago........i dont remember...yea i liked it a lot and im sad now cuz i have a whole list of my fave Y!A peeps and none of 'em come here anymore =(
