Nope, because I state my honest opinion and if someone doesn't like it, oh well. I don't pay attention to the thumbs down anymore because it is childish to give them if you don't agree with someone. Everybody is suppose to have a different opinion and agreeing will make Y/A boring.

No. I haven't even thought about that. However I am cautious about what questions I answer. If I think I can maybe help the person asking I will. If I am not sure I will know enough about the answer to a question or enough about the situation from what the questioner has said I don't.

cautious in life yes and to as large degree....but here in this format, I am not worried about people liking me, I simply do NOT want to offend anyone...at one time I think i appeared so damn meek that i was taken for a milk toast...which iam nothing of the sort.
as far as getting a thumbs down yes it does affect me, and I have to laugh and say i don't even know why...yet surprised when someone stars me or gives me a thumbs up.....paying attention is a biog deal...and i am more sensitive than i really let on.....i wouldn't worry about it, you sound so sincere and well spoken....I love the question because I can tell it came from your heart...

no, there are no points taken off for them (at least I don't think there are) And I don't really care what other people think. If I get a thumbs down from someone, oh freaking well. I think I'll live.

not really, i give my own opinion. if people dont like it and give me a thumbs down then they are small minded.
however im never purposely rude or give distastful answers.
i believe everyones opinion is valid so i dont care if some people give me a thumbs down- its just what i think.
