If it is fried where can I get another one, and how much or do I have to take it somewhere????

You probably just need to reinstall the drivers for the one you have.

Hi. Some audio is built in to the motherboard, but if you have a soundcard, that is where the jacks plug in for mike, speakers, etc. Not hard at all to replace.

If you plug your speakers into the same area as your mouse and keyboard you have a on board soundcard. You can snag a app called Aida32 it is a benchmarking app will tell you everything about your rig.
