Mine is (was) Jack-in-the-Box's Sourdough Chicken n' Mushroom Sandwich...which they don't make anymore. :(

Overall, that restaurant seems to be more original than most others in changing up their menu with new, creative items.

But KFC's extra crispy chicken and mashed potatoes are also hard to beat, but only with extreme moderation. I'd also pick McDonald's original hamburger (the $0.79 one) for nostalgia value...

Oh yeah, one answer below reminded me that I forgot Arby's roast beef sandwich with Arby sauce + a little horsey sauce...yummers. But like KFC, more than a couple at a time makes me ill...

Hello:

My favorite restaurants are the following two and here are the items that I just LOVE from their restaurants!! ;-)

KFC: I LOVE their original fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, baked beans, and buttermilk biscuits with honey. I love the fact that they carry Pepsi Cola products as I usually order Pepsi or Mountain Dew with my meal!! ;-)

Arby's: I LOVE their Arby roast beef cheddar melts which is a roast beef sandwich with melted cheddar cheese on top,I love their spicy curly fries,I love their apple turnovers, and I love their strawberry or chocolate shakes too,YUMMY!! ;-) I only go to these two restaurants once in a great while, but when I do,I enjoy every morsel of the food, trust me!! These restaurants tend to be a bit on the pricey side, but their food more than makes up for it!! ;-)

Anything at Taco Bell! Does anyone remember, back in the day, they had a steak-type burrito and it had the REAL tater-tots in it? Those were the bomb! Now they have a beef&potato burrito but it isn't the same. It's with the ground beef and seasoned potato cubes instead... They need to bring back the original steak and potato burrito. Also, way back when, they had something called a "Taco Light" that was awesome.

Chicken sandwich from Chik-Fil-A for national chains. There is a semi-local burger place around here named Five Guys that has the greatest burgers and fries. Can't eat there more than once a month or so or you'll need open heart surgery after a few years! ;-)

I agree with the KFC x-crispy chicken(white meat only), and I love their boneless BBQ wings. Rallies loaded fries are wonderful also.
