There is only 1 way to choose You must ask yourself...
**Do I have the space for a desktop, or a portable
**Am I willing to spend WAY more on a laptop or a loaded desktop, Trust me, basic laptops cost way more than Loaded Desktops. In some cases, Generic laptops may be pretty cheap, but there no always reliable.

Trust me, it is difficult to choose, but you MUST buy a computer that meet you Specifications...

When I upgraded computers, I bought a portable computer because it always would take up my living room space. I also understood that I would need to Spend more $$$ because Laptops are the new now becoming power-full, thus making prices rise up!!

I always tell everybody that Laptops are capable of running Microsoft (PC) EXCEPT APPLE COMPUTERS!

PS.. Packard Bell Computers are pretty STRONG desktop computer. I have a Vintage collectible windows 95, and it is a good computer. But I own a HP laptop and there pretty good though.

I have a Dell XPS laptop. Has never broken and is actually faster than my desktop (both are the same age, around 9 months old). I suppose it depends on what your needs are. A laptop is handy for me because I live away from home during the college year and I can bring it into the library. It's also good because there is always someone using my desktop at home!

I would say the pc, the laptop is good but the pc has more memory etc and faster processor.
I bought a laptop but still use my desktop due to the fact the desktop is faster etc.
I would shop around however, prices are a bit high on both items. Try www.ebuyer.co.uk

well depends if you need the portability of a computer eg to move around the house, or outside of the house, since laptops are very complex to upgrade compared to a pc.

so its more a matter of portability, im not a big fan of pcworld pc's over priced and underpowered for their price, i would also check dell, http://www.scan.co.uk

I use a laptop. It is nice to take with you. And I have heard that you might be able to pick up signals from peoples wireless roughters and get free internet by mistake. Not that i have done that or that i am doing that right now! Well. Your pick i guess.

I'd never buy myself a laptop. Too unreliable and hard to fix.
