i have a femaile large rat and its in its teen age year and i was just wondering how big they get.

Average female rats body is 7 to 9 inches and their tail can get just as long as their body.
Sometimes, your rat will stay smaller, only getting to be about 5 inches long, other times they can get to be about 10 inches long. Ever rat is different.
One of my females now is almost a year old and she's only about 5 inches long...

The biggest rat I have ever seen was over 2 feet long plus the tail. It was wild. I saw it in Vietnam about 35 years ago. I'm sorry, but aside from that I can't help you much on your question. I am certain your rat will not get that big. The one I saw was literally large enough to put on a spit and barbecue. I know, that sounds gross, but you would be surprised what some people eat and, as far as that goes, you might be surprised at some of the things I have eaten.
