Oh honey, take the train!
It's so much better than the bus and prices are comparable!
Check out http://www.amtrak.com
Book it in two sections....
from San Francisco to Eugene you are limited to the Coast Starlight, which is okay, but often crowded and always late, (but still a lot better than Greyhound). From Eugene to Olympia, take the Amtrak Cascades. It's a commuter train, spacious, not usually crowded, and has onboard movies.Train travel is scenic and fun.

checked greyhound.com. for you. 18 hours. Bring a pillow.
when my son was 4 we took a greyhound trip, and he said---Dad I have a joke. how do you get comfortable on a Greyhound bus? answer: Get off the bus. every passenger in earshot was in tears, I kid you not. Coming out of a four-year old it was simply hilarious.
Have logged over 100,000 miles on Greyhound. Bring the biggest pillow you have. Pack some sandwiches---the restaurants they stop at are not cheap, and not top-flight.
