I'm marrying the girl who's eyes I just happened to catch when walking by in a parking lot. Sometimes you just have to sit back and let fate do it's thing.

My husband and I knew of each other for years but never actually talked. We actually first "met" at a gas station. I'd stopped to get milk and he was in there with some friends- he said something silly not realizing I was there then felt like he should apologize in case he'd offended me. I told him no big deal and asked where I'd seen him before and we just carried on the conversation from there.

We've been married a few years now and he's perfect. Funny what you find when you're not looking.

Well, we met in high school about sophomore year. We did some projects together in English and had a few other classes together from that year to senior year.

Senior year, we were assigned to dance together in the high school musical, "My Fair Lady". My friend Steph had caught him staring at my @$$! And here's the really funny part. He'd even been touching it while we'd danced. I had had no clue! He told me all about it after he'd asked me out.

Anyway, he didn't start liking me as more than a friend until our Senior year. We made a movie together for our Social Problems class and he had been hitting on me the entire time! Even in that class he had been. We'd get into petty arguments and that was his way of flirting. God, I wish I could go back to those times and watch him. I had had no idea that he was hitting on me!

Not long after graduation, he did a crazy stunt. He walked his dogs all the way out to my house from his. He lives about 5 miles away from me, so it's a long walk. Anyway, he asked me to go on a canoe trip in June. He took me up north to Chain O' Lakes and we had a blast. We even went minigolfing! On the way back from the lake, it started raining and we stopped at an outlet mall to shop until it let up. After it did, we got back on the highway and he started a 20 questions game with me. He wanted me to start, but I couldn't think of anything to ask him. He asked me, "Could you ever see me as more than a friend?" I was quite shocked, so my best answer was, "I don't know."

We've been dating ever since. Nine months later, we're very happy and enjoying every minute of our relationship together.

I met my hubby when I was in 7th grade. I was friends with his sister for 3 months before I even met him. (he was in high school.) Then it took another 3 years before we even dated. then we dated on/off through my high school years. Were apart for about 5 years. Then finally married!
