Okay, I gave an answer to another question like this. If you go to my profile you can see it there. I am on the line here because I am 13, but really hate the junk that little idiots keep putting up. Like if I ask a question about U2, they respond by saying that the band is too old and they only love Hilary Duff. Yuck! Anyways to see all that I had to say it is under,

Hope that works. If not just click on my profile and go to "Yahoo Questions Age Restrictions?"
Okay, it didn't work for me, so it probably won't work.

Think about it. Its a computer. People can lie and put any age they want. Example: Like a porn site asks...if you are 18 years of age click here___ Anyone can click and claim to be any age they want. It just cant be confirmed online. Shame but that's the reality of it.

They do: 13 to create your own account and use this service, under 18 must have parent permission (I think), and 12 and under must share account with parent. They definitely should block out some of the inappropriate stuff.

No, but Y! Answers should boot people (permanently) for hate language. And I really wish some people (and we have all seen them) would realize that being crude is uncalled for and go to different rooms to act like children.

They do have. But, I feel it should be 18 and older because of the often explicit content. I don't want to see the ugly, naked avatars, and kids certainly don't need to see them.

My son is 12 and there is no way I would let him participate in this forum, now or even when he's older.

Look over the community guidelines under age restrictions.

This is mainly why so many people recieve violations for vulgar, insulting or otherwise bad taste for minor children in Q&A.
