This question mostly toward male to female crossdressers. If you have, what were you wearing(just panties/lingerie underneath, or more)? How did going to through security go? I've never tried before. Would kind of be embarassing being caught, but I think it would be a thrill. I was thinking about doing it, but just curious of some input from those who did it before.

There are no regulations against what you wear to travel except the obvious. And I have traveled en-fem... But, as an experienced traveler, you have to understand the meaning of being comfortable while in flight. It is important to know what you can wear that would be practical, particularly the weather where you are flying to. The event of a problem going through security is embarrassing for anyone so you must be very comfortable in what you wear or don't wear it. Shoes are another issue and usually alot of walking is required in most airports, so low heels tend to be key,...let alone the thought that you must remove them before going through the metal detectors. And then those same shoes will be scrutinized as they go into the x-ray machine,...now could you explain the steel in your stilettos ...
Travel how you feel comfortable, most people do and that includes cross-dressers and transgendered folks as well.

Yes, I did, but not completely dressed, everything under my shirt and pants was definitely fem' top was actually a blouse, only give away there were buttons on opposite side, nobody noticed, and this was long before 9-11. You speaking of it makes me think about doing it now, but it would be an evening flight and would be completely dressed up. unless you are shy about people finding out, what does it matter if they know? You most likely will never see them again anyway. I think you should go for it, the thrill would definitely outweigh being caught.

I'm not a crossdresser but I did dress up like a male, practically, on a flight
the thing is that we went to Cuba and we wanted to take my family clothes and theres a limited amount of clothes you can take to Cuba without being charged OUTRAGEOUS amounts of money
so........... I was about 15 and thankfully i've always been really tall

I wore about four pairs of underwear (aside from my own) about 2 or three shorts for my guy cousin and then on top of that I put some jeans on (that were for uncle )
On top I put on like 10 tank tops, a couple of shirts and finally a big long sleeve shirt that was for my uncle as well
To top it alll off I had a straw hat on my head, I picked up my hair and put it on the hat.
At the time I weighed about 140 and I had like 20lbs of clothes on me , maybe more

To think of it, I dont know how they didnt ask me anything, my passport says FEMALE

I have driven to other states on vacation dressed, but not on a flight. I've thought about it, but haven't done it yet.

Maybe one day I will, however I think I'd have to take a late flight or really early morning flight on a weekday.

Yes I have, on many occasions.

It's probably not fair for me to brag like that.

To be honest, I always had my captain's uniform on and didn't change into heels and a tight skirt until I was in the cockpit with the door locked.

I've never took a flight while cross-dressed, but it would definitely be interesting. This question makes me wonder how much fun it would be to cross-dress on a train trip (in a private room) or even to cross-dress on a boat cruise too.

Well I am an ftm tg, not a mtf cd, but I have done that before, and I am sure that you will be perfectly fine. You pose no threat to national security.
