I am buying this computer: >>>
http://ecomm.dell.com/dellstore/basket.aspx?itemtype=CFG&s=dhs&l=en&cs=19&c=us&&details=false.

It's a Dell Dimension C521 and it doesn't include speakers. What speakers can I get that are compatible? Thanx for your help!

Speakers are plug-n-play. So any speaker system will work with your machine. If you are making a dell purchase, there are a bunch of coupons at http://www.24houredeals.com/Dell-coupons-23-mer.html

Good luck.

I cant open your wish list.. anyway, whatever spec of pc you buy today will always have a stereo audio out and output for headphone, some locate them on the front or back, or both. some sound cards built in the computer may have "RCA" type (white&red). Small stereo jack is almost universal.

any speaker with a plug that would match any of these outputs will work for you,

the speaker you will want to buy totally depend on your sound taste, use, and preference. it could be as simple as a .99 cents headphone or those 27 piece surround b***s**t stuff. just tell the guy where youre buying from that you will need it to have a small stereo jack for plugging it into the "audio out" at the back of the computer/laptop.

and if youre worrying about compatibility of speaker and your pc, or pc not matching required specs/software for a particular speaker... computer specs like memory, processor speed, operating system etc doesnt have to do anything with any speaker may it be big or small. but sound quality is defined by what kind of sound card you have and type of speaker you have which is a completely different (and more complicated) topic

Hi. Almost all are compatible. Some are better sounding and some are powered. Cambridge SoundWorks makes a good sounding system for not a lot on money, but choose the ones that sound best to YOU.

Any computer speakers will work, the audio jacks are all standardized. If you want a nice 2.1 pair with a subwoofer and THX capable...check these out.
