I am white and protested along side the immigrants last May 1st in support of them as humans such as we all our here in America and out of disgust at the racial blindness that fogs the minds of many leading them to not being able to distinguish riality-
I was fortunate to speak in front of thousands and say a few supportive words-My story got written in the paper.

This was the most remerable moment I have to have done something and speak out about what I feel the most passionate about: Living together peacufully and calling people by thier names rather then their color or Ethnicity or Stereotype..I pray that some day life will be this way on earth but I know it will not happen-

Has anyone had a chance to really let you voice be heard?

It's hard to pick a favorite answer when they are all great and of the same accord!
They are all great and thank you all for speaking out or writing about or having the desire to see a resolution.
Don't give up and remember that some of the worst form of cancer can be cured! Racism is like a cancer and you all are part of the cure-

You're a good guy! =) I've stated my opinion on it before, but not like you have. I think the only being that truly has the right judge someone is the Lord! No one should be hated because of thier color or ethnicity. I'm glad to know there are still people out there like you!

Every day in school. I go to a private all-girls school in Texas, and they've really instilled us with the power to speak our minds. From this, I've learned to appreciate and love my thoughts and ideas. I speak not just as a Mexican American woman, but as a member of the human race. Needless to say, we tend to intimidate others when we get together with people outside of our community. Sadly, they find outspoken girls a rarity.

The day racism dies, wow....I would love to be alive to see that happen.

I tip my hat to you. More people should speak up.

But, I do believe the day racism dies is the day the human race dies. While the goal of a world free of racism may be untenable, it is still a goal worthy of pursuit.

Peace, love and understanding.

No I haven't had the chance but I think it's great that you did. The day racism dies is the day we all let our voices be heard and stop tolerating it.
