Depends on the program you are printing from. Try File and drop down to find print and then you can set the parameters, paper etc.

If there's no Icon, forget it. and depend on File. It's probably better.
Decide if you want to print just a PART of what you see on your screen or ALL of it.
If only a part (sentence or a picture) , the go to the end of it, click and hold down the left click and drag to the beginning, you'll see it highlight in blue, release the left click, and that is what will print. Then go to File (upper left), click on it, then click on Print, then click on the Selection button, decide on Preferences. and eventually click on Print.
If you want to print everything you see on the screen, forget the highlighting, just go to File, Print, and click on the ALL button, and after you select any Preferences (if any at all), just click on Print.
Do a lot of experimenting with the various options. Also make sure your printer is highlighted, or checked, in the Select Printer window...not Fax or whatever.

Depends on the program, but you can always find it in the 'File' column. Even when there is no printer icon (as in many programs).

filepath:start>my comp.>'c' drive>windows>system 32>icons.
note these files are often lost by windows so get some nice ones from the internet and make your own folder for the lost folder/icon (windows has lame icons and sounds anyway!)
