Excellent. a very good character. Strong minded and intelligent. A similar sort of character to Romana.

I thought she was great. Not any better or worse than Rose, just different. It will be interesting to see how the character develops over the course of the series.
I hope we don't see much more of her family though, I found them a bit annoying (then again maybe that was the point).
Overall, I really enjoyed the episode. Best opener of the three new series so far I thought. Looks like its on track to top the last two series by quite a way.

I think it's too early to make a decision. This might have been her best episode and she might get worse, or she might get better. Couple more episodes and I'll be able to judge better.
I have to admit, I watched the episode thinking she would be rubbish. Almost *wanting* her to be rubbish. Only because I liked Billie as the Dr's assistant. But then I had the same view when Tennant took over as the Dr, I thought he'd never match up to Ecclestone.
But I've been proved wrong. I hope I am again.

Freema is ok, but I like Billie better. Yes, Freema looks more sexy and sophisticated, but when what's her name.. the skin.. took over her body and she acted sexy.. she had potential and I believed her. Freema is the body that is going out of style... Billie's rounder body is what is in style now. Plus she was (is) more fun. Freema sounds like she is tripping (over herself) and is uncomfortable in her own skin as the companion. I like her better as the extra in the second to last episode of last season. We'll wait and see.

I liked her, I thought she was very different from any of the other companions that we've seen. She seems very intelligent, much better than I expected (I've been watching the trailers almost hoping she'll be awful - I thought no one could replace Billie but who knows) and delighted to be part of Doctor Who. Nice one!

she was cool, she is bright too which will help the Dr in future episodes, there was a spark between them and the chemistry is there from the start so it is going to be good.

She seemed pretty good, she was better than I expected. I really enjoyed it. Shame we didn't get to see an x-ray of his two hearts though.
