I pay a great deal in taxes and I'm proud to do so. I believe that all Americans deserve good schools, good highways, libraries, fire and police protection, protection of our national parks, unemployment and workers' compensation, national defense, a fair justice system and all the other benefits and protections afforded by our local, state and federal governments.
I think America is the best country in the world, and I am blessed to be a citizen here. I never miss voting in an election, and I take my responsibilities as a citizen very seriously.

When Clinton was in office I got a refund. With Bush I have to pay more every year. So yes we centrists are paying taxes. But then again, we don't mind doing our share. It is the Cons that don't want to pay taxes.
