Quite simply no! He is eccentric yes...and nowadays he looks like an OAP Chav but creepy no. He has a heart of gold and was a national treasure for all kids growing up in the 70's and 80's which is why he was knighted.

My dad used to go mad when Jimmy Saville came on TV. He never liked him and always said, "how come he can afford all that gold jewellery, he is pocketing all the money he makes for charity". Gets you wondering.!!

He lives near me and occasionally comes into the hotel i manage and he always wears a bloody tracksuit!

he is an old man now but has always been a bit strange-eccentric it has been his trademark with all the jewellery.he has raised lots of money for charity over the years and is a decent chap i think

Not creepy, just a bit mad. I used to live in Leeds, and met him a couple of times. He was very eccentric, but a really nice man.

Ah poor old Jimmy
He was lovely. If he wore the clothes for his age he wouldn't be so scary.Tracksuits were always his logo with a big cigar. It just looks out of place today that's all.
