I have an Jack Dempsy (Cichlid) I was feeding her guppies but some girl at the fish store told me not to & gave me krill & told me to give it cichlid gold which is pellet food, but my fish doesnt seem to eat that any suggestion as to what to feed it or was that gilr wrong?!?!

The girl was right and wrong at the same time. It's ok to feed your Jack feeder guppies, but that shouldn't be all you give him. He probably doesn't recognizew the pellets or krill as food yet. Give him some time, several days, before assuming he won't eat it at all. He will most likely come around and start to eat it. Then feed guppies only infrequently, like once a week or so. You can also mix in various frozen foods for him to eat.
