the question is:
"what evidence can you provide that suggests that not all cells divide at the same rate?"

we were learning about cell divison,reproduction,meiosis,mitosis,etc.

plz help with this question!

Here are a few ideas:
1. Different parts of organisms don't grow at the same rate. For instance, stem tips grow quickly while older parts of the stem stay about the same.
2. Onion root tips have many cells in the various stages of mitosis just above the root cap, but almost entirely interphase cells farther up the root.
3. Cancer cells divide very quickly causing tumors to grow even though other cells in the organism don't.
