I didn't see you writing this question when he was shooting at 50% or high in the last two weeks. Another witchhunt. They are in the playoffs despite all of the injuries of L.A., and that was because of Kobe. If what you say is true, Melo, Lebron, Wade, Arenas, Iverson, Redd, and Pierce are all ball hogs. its funny though, they are all all-stars beside Pierce and Redd. When the game is on the line you go to your main man. If you watched the game you would see that Kobe passed to Walton twice, Odom twice, and Parker once in the forth quarter( all of those passes were consecuative). Guess what?? They went 0-5. Then Kobe went 5-5. Hwe had a bad third quarter going 1-12. The rest of the team didn't do much better. If the team was so pissed, Kobe might not get the ball that often. If he is such a bad player, why does Phil put him in when the game is on the line. You know nothing about basketball. Who is your favorite player, Im sure I can findsome games where instead of shooting they passed and lost the game. Or when they had a bad game. You are just another member of the witchhunt for Kobe Bryant. All players have bad game, but all you do is criticize when Kobe does, howe convienent.

I disagree. Actually if you look at the Lakers stats, they actually win a higher percentage of games when he scores 40+. The reason he is a one man show at times is because the rest of his team is garbage. If Kobe had the supporting cast Jordan did in the 90s then Kobe could run the triangle and easily win another 3 rings. You can be a Kobe hater and maybe hes not the best teammate or person, however you can't deny his unbelievable talent and how clutch he is when the game is on the line.

See, Matt 1180 actually watched the game instead of the next day's box score. If Kobe hadn't taken over in the last 10-12 min. they would have lost by double digits. Instead he put them in a position to win it in the last possession of over time. If he doesn't take over in those situations he doesn't win as much and people like you say, "Look at Kobe, his teams don't win". So, there's no way Kobe can please you is there? And by the way...
JORDAN AVERAGED 4.6 MORE SHOTS PER GAME THAN KOBE!!!!!!!! And Kobe's the ball hog??? Look at my link and look up both players for proof. Since Jordan understood the triangle so much better than Kobe, I guess the fact that Kobe is now taking more shots shows he's starting to get it right? That or Jordan didn't "understand" it either LOL.
Danny, Kobe averaged 50% or more in every one of those 50 plus games during the streak.

I very much agree with you. Kobe scores 50 points a game but it takes him 48 shots to do it. NBA Basketball is a team game not a 1 on 5 street ball game.
Concerning your statement on MJ I also agree. Jordan was and is a basketball genious and let the game come to him. Kobe begs for the ball and forces the game to come to him. The biggest difference between Kobe and Michael is defense. MJ actually played tough defense for all of his career. Kobe, since he didn't go to college, doesn't even know the fundamentals of defense. He usually just hangs around and relies on his athetism, granted he comes up with some nice plays but you need to be consistent in this league. I say the Lakers make it to the playoffs and are taken out in the first round. Kobe will complain and some drama will happen in LA

Kobe is just trying to help his team win, Kobe does not have a very good supporting cast anyway, If I am a lakers fan I would rather have Kobe shooting the ball then kwame brown or Smush Parker. I mean Jordan had Steve Kerr, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman. 2 out of those 3 aforementioned players could make the Hall of Fame. Name one player on Kobe's team who will make the Hall of Fame the only person that could possibly come to mind is Lamar Odom, and he still has not proven himself to be a dominant player. Kobe has his work cut out for him. MJ not so much.
BTW tell me one record MJ set and then we will talk about who is better.

Lakers could be a better team if he would start being a better team player, and stop taking low quality shots, and his percentage would go way up! Ive seen Kobe play that way, and the Lakers do good when he does....Hes got Lamar Odom, Luke Walton, Kwame Brown, and Bynum.(Which is better than most teams, big men) ...
Kobe has all the talent in the world! He just doesn't understand the game, he makes it hard on him self, basketball is a team sport not individual, so until he can get his team involved, they will continue to be mediocre

Do you know anything about basketball at all? He shot 44 times true enough, but it was and overtime game, and he took at least 15 shots within the last 5 minutes of the 4th and OT. They were down 12 with 5 minutes left, he tied the game up BY HIMSELF, if that's not helping your team, what is? When he went to the bench they were down 5, when he returned they were down 12. All coaches go by +/- ratio, and from the looks of that, the LAKERS ARE A MUCH BETTER TEAM WITH KOBE ON THE FLOOR. Stop hating, if you don't like him personally that's cool, but don't knock his game cause you know he's the most complete player in the game.

Kobe can score at will and the past 2 weeks has proven that. I guess you don't remember the beginning of the year, when everyone was healthy, he was averaging double digit assists. Not only is he the best offensive player but he is a great defensive player.
What would you do if you were on a team that... when you dish it off to someone they shoot and miss. What are you going to do next time down the court?

kobe runs the triangle also. kobe has the ball. he understands it perfectly - everyone else stinks, so he has to score. Kobe is too talented with that group of failures (except Odom) to be brought down with them. No mistake, I hate Kobe, but he does what he has to do. Kobe will probably be the only one to take a shot for LAL in a game sometime soon though. That would be laughable for anyone else, but Kobe has the right combination of skills, ball-hogging-ness, and failures on his team.

Why doesn't everybody just get Kobe off your brain! It seems as though you people "get Off" on talking negative about him. Throughout MJ's career he avg. just as many shots if not more. They have the same coach, so if the triangle is not being run where is his outrage?
