I've been having symptoms of pregnancy. Lower abdominal pains, back aches, headaches, the whole nine yards. But I only started having unprotected sex saturday. My Home Pregnancy tests say negative. Is it a possibility I'm pregnant anyway? Did I take the test too early? I'm so confused and in need of answers!!!

The tests in the store are not always accurate...mostly they're not at all...it measures hormones in your urine...some women get results from those...you should try the test in the morning during your first bathroom visit...and don't try it before your period would normally start...they say they work early, but they rarely do! You took the test too early, you need to wait until your first missed period. I'm guessing its only been 1 wk since you had unprotected sex? You don't get pregnancy symptoms after only 1 wk - but you could still be pregnant. Right now everything is all in your head because it is too early for signs of anything related to pregnancy, you're looking into every little thing too deeply. Just be patient & see if your next period comes, then you can take a test & find out.

well first response test say that you can take the test 2 days before you are supposed to get ur period.. and it will tell you.. i think it would be really really early for you to have those symptoms.. maybe its just the stress. if you skipped ur period it will be cos of the stress unless ur pregnant.. but lets not think that.. so take the test after a week from today.. then if its negative and you are still feeling sick. go to the doctor. but dont worry because stress also causes headaches.. and things like that.. good luck

These symptoms of pregnancy don't happen in the first month. They are either something else or they are just in you mind. If the test says you aren't preg then you aren't. Just check once a week to see.

do you mean LAST Saturday?
maybe your hopes to conceive are causing your brain to fill your body with false signals.
however, it is possible to feel the effects of pregnancy from the get-go and maybe just not have enough of the hormone to trigger the test.

Safe Sex is the better way to go unless you are ready for babies take it again the test relax ab-it it can be stress

if you had unprotected sex then there is always a chance of being pregnant not to mention the numerous diseases that you can catch, i would say that you took the test too early also. if you are going to have sex at least be smart and use protection.

The test is to early to do... Wait a while....... like the next time you are surrposed to start your period.. then take the test.. or go to the doctors.

yes thats way to early. If you had sex saterday and you happen to be ovulating at that time then you shouldn't be getting symptoms yet. Go to justmommies.com to the ttc boards and they can give you so much info ! good luck :)

its your mind playing tricks on you because you are having dangerous sex. i doubt your pregnant. also why are you testing if your period isnt late. read the test box they say best results once your late. a good rule of thumb is test once your late no need before it wont read
